Simulating and Conditioning Thermocouple Signal script description:

Publisher review:
Simulating and Conditioning Thermocouple Signals - Reference data and polynomials for 8 letter-designated thermoucouples. Official ITS-90 reference data and highly accurate polynomial coefficients for type B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T thermocouples, plus a utility for reading and manipulating the data are included. The reference data set is the NIST Standard Reference Database 60 version 2.0.

Documentation for the data set can be found on NIST's web site. This data is used by the Simulink version 6.0 demo "Approximating Nonlinear Relationships: Type S Thermocouple" sldemo_tc.mdl in relation to control systems applications, but is highly applicable to all test and measurement applications involving thermocouples. The thermocouple data file 'all.tab' in the .zip file is Copyright U.S. Dept. of Commerce and is distributed by The MathWorks under license, not for redistribution.
